File this film under WTF? It was a case of the right place, at the right time, for British-born writer-director Rhys Frake-Waterfield to make this gratuitous slice of Milne-sploitation. The premise is that after Christopher Robin abandoned Pooh and pals for the winter, they turned feral and started hunting and slaughtering humans. So, it's only natural that this bloodthirsty flick turns the woodland friends into a twisted Deliverance-style survival horror group and starts harvesting hapless villagers in the woods.
It's a shame that the actors don't have a bigger budget to work with, because they're actually pretty good. The rural nighttime setting makes great use of the available light, and the actors gamely play along - even though they're probably getting paid a very small amount for this.
