Taking the Terrifying Sting Out of Fence Post Setting
Although many assume pouring concrete into a pre-dug hole is the sole method for setting a fence post, there are in fact multiple approaches that offer more ease and just as much reliability. Acquiring the results you want won't have to be painstakingly laborious; other means exist that can supply better results with less effort.
A post hole digger is the best tool for creating a foundation for the post. Using it, you can dig a hole double its width and at least two feet into the ground. t post wire clip tool should be filled with six inches of gravel, upon which the post can be mounted before you backfill the remainder of the hole with dirt and pack it down securely.
To insert a post firmly in place, dig a wide and deep hole with a post hole digger. Make sure the perimeter is three times the width of the post, and at least two feet down into the ground. To secure the post even further, fill the bottom 6 inches with gravel and then place it in the hole before filling up the rest of it with soil. Use your feet to stamp down the dirt and compress it tightly to ensure a secure foundation.
Impressively, setting up a fence post can be achieved quickly and effectively through either of these procedures. You'll be left with a firm installation rooted in the earth.
