Sandig’s wife of 63 years, Doris (BA 1945), their 4 kids and 12 grandchildren survive him. The former Chief Executive of Tara Hospital, psychiatrist Dr Raymond Sandig (MBBCh 1944) died on four December 2011, aged ninety five. He leaves Ine, his loving and devoted wife of forty nine years, his children Galen and Richardine and grandchildren Luke, Tatiana, Blake and Sasha.
