The findings of a prior investigation into the unmet healthcare requirements of homeless individuals were released by a team of clinicians working for the National Library of Medicine. According to the findings, 73% of respondents said they had at least one unmet health requirement.
This includes being unable to obtain essential medical and dental care, not having access to prescription drugs, receiving insufficient mental health care, and not being able to buy eyeglasses. According to the study, clinically significant dental issues have been detected in two-thirds of homeless individuals, and nearly 40% have visual impairments.
