For local construction, Gamuda has embraced digital technology with the use of its own Digital Industrialised Building System (Digital IBS), which is designed to reduce cost and time of delivery through robotic automation in precasting production, cutting down the manpower requirement by up to 60 percent as well as reducing wastage to less than one percent. celadon city enhances quality, safety and environmental sustainability in construction through the application of BIM integration in its design as well as utilising a controlled environment that is superior to on-site set ups, where weather influences workability and product quality.
On the international front, Gamuda has established its presence in Taiwan through a series of civil engineering projects including underground and elevated sections of the SBK Line 1 MRT. This has helped to strengthen its footprint in the market where it is already a leading infrastructure player, with an additional four projects in the pipeline for the next few years.
