実技・技法としての「宗教画」の構造を探り，フラ・アンジェリコ絵画について再度考察を深めることを試みるものである。
本論に入る前にこれまでの考察の成果を確認し，要点を整理したい。
フラ・アンジェリコ絵画における技法材料論と宗教画的価値では，フラ・アンジェリコ絵画をどのように捉えるかは，人間と人間の表現，芸術と宗教絵画を考えるとき重要な問題の一つである，との考えから １５ 世紀以降の美術から「宗教画」とその技法について考察した。
１５世紀以降の初期ルネサンスの中の一人として，フレスコ画の円光の技法と
いう要素が挙げられるが，フレスコ画は同時に，宗教画や西洋絵画の技法論を語る上での重要なキーワードでもある。
以前からルネサンス期のことで非常に多くの質疑が生じていた。*

初期ルネサンスに着目して技法の流れを改めて見ると，いくつかの要素に整理することができた。（〇〇章参照）
フラ・アンジェリコとその当時の画家と宗教画や宗教そのものとの関係を見ていくことが，美術教育の根底の在り方を考える事に繋がるとの考えのもと，本論を進めていく。
