This park has Plenty of Shade Trees, Picnic Areas & Covered Pavilions, Olympic-Sized Swimming Pool, Lighted Tennis Courts, Municipal Golf Course, and Nature Trails.
During your stay at the RV Park, it is possible to hike the trails of the Fredericksburg Nature Center. The Nature center features streams, lakes, bird blinds and feeding area, butterfly habitat, cactus gardens and over 250 flowering plants.
Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park is situated 3 miles south of Fredericksburg on State Hwy 16, just minutes from downtown where you could enjoy the shopping for Antiques, Quilts, Artwork, SUPERB, Leather Furniture, Handmade Soaps, Candles, and much more. Enjoy German Cuisine, Texas Famous Barbecue, or Southwestern menus. You can also stop at the neighborhood tavern for a tall glass of German Beer.
