Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park and RV Campsites in Fredericksburg TX
If you are thinking about a RV Camping visit to Fredericksburg make sure you reserve your spot at the Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park. This was one of the better RV parks I have visited in a while. This park has Plenty of Shade Trees, Picnic Areas & Covered Pavilions, Olympic-Sized POOL, Lighted Tennis Courts, Municipal COURSE, and Nature Trails.
During your stay at the RV Park, it is possible to hike the trails of the Fredericksburg Nature Center. The Nature center features streams, lakes, bird blinds and feeding area, butterfly habitat, cactus gardens and over 250 flowering plants.
Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park is located 3 miles south of Fredericksburg on State Hwy 16, just moments from downtown where one can enjoy the shopping for Antiques, Quilts, Artwork, SUPERB, Leather Furniture, Handmade Soaps, Candles, and much more. Enjoy German Cuisine, Texas Famous Barbecue, or Southwestern menus. You can even stop at the local tavern for a tall glass of German Beer. Sault Ste Marie can find nine Wineries and Vineyards that offer tastings and special events.
