The Seattle group gained fame during the 90s as a leader of the grunge movement with their albums Facelift and Dirt achieving huge success. The group was on an indefinite hiatus following the death of lead singer Layne Staley in 2002, they returned in 2006 with new singer William DuVall.
Their latest album, The Devil Wears Prada, was released in 2015 and is a return to their more riffy sounds of their early works. Alice in Chains' album, The Devil Wears Prada is a return to their more lively sound of their previous work. The record has received high praise from critics and has already been certified double platinum.
The band is also on tour together with Breaking Benjamin, and Bush. The band played on Wednesday evening, and the group launched their tour at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. Superfuzz30 from Reddit shared a picture of the merchandise on sale at the show, and one shirt that caught the attention of many fans.
