Red Hot Chili Peppers Plaques
For an act whose days of wearing strategic socks are long gone, LA funk-rock indestructibles the Red Hot Chili peppers exude a sense of vigor and vitality that is timeless. The Red Hot Chili Peppers show are a huge hit with both parents and teenagers as well as having the most sexy songs to keep them from becoming self-parody.


Thundercat opened the Chili Peppers tour on this night. Thundercat is a prodigious soul-jazz funk bassist who wowed audiences with his warp speed falsetto jazz and mind-melting space jazz. It was a cool evening that featured an array of visual effects and video images that complemented the music.


Then the Chili Peppers took to the stage amid massive applause. The group kicked off with two new songs. 2022's Unlimited love was the first release since John Frusciante returned to the group after he left for rehab during the recording of the previous album, Blood Sugar Sex Magick. https://jobs.ict-edu.uk/user/mohamedfrederiksen2580/ isn't just a recap of their past successes, but an expansive exploration of the band's style and sound. Hillel's guitar sounds less shrill and Flea's bass sounds more lively and Anthony's voice is utilized to create more melodic alterations from his usual rap style.


The music is fun however, it has the feel of the 1970s (even the name is a reference to "Brother Louie" and "Brother Louie" from the Me Decade). Many of the tracks would be at home on an AM radio - if there was such a thing as classic rock earlier in the day. The smooth funk of "Aquatic Mouth Dance' and the reggae-tinged 'Black Summer' were among the highlights.



In the second half of the show, the energy dipped somewhat, mainly due to the fact that a large portion of the crowd were familiar with these newer tunes. However, the Chili Peppers soon got the crowd back up by playing songs like 'Dani California' and 'Universally Speaking'. The audience sang along with 'OD'd In Denver", a song that invokes feelings of joy and being home.


The main highlight of the night was a trio of encores. The first song was a furious version by drummer Chad Smith of his classic "One More Minute" that included an extended jam that was performed by a choir. redhotchilipeppersmerch -loved hits, "Dani California" and "Give It away", were also performed as encores. The last song was the perfect choice to conclude a concert that contained everything a rock concert ought to contain. It was a good illustration of why they're one of the best live acts ever, and why people continue to show up to their concerts. On Sunday, the band will return to Singapore for a sold out show at the 57.500-capacity Singapore Indoor Stadium.
