Poppy Cloth Create Your Own Opioid From Poppy Seeds
Poppy Cloth is the name given to a clothing line that features beaded, embroidered, sequined poppy fabrics and a wide range of other clothing items. The brand, created in London by a fashion designer with the same name, has clothes for women, men and children. poppy merch includes shirts pants and dresses with sequins and embroidery, as well as handkerchiefs headbands and scarves. The clothes line is composed of viscose and cotton, with some items also featuring silk, linen or wool. The clothes are available in numerous shades with floral, polka-dot or stripe designs. The poppy is a flowering plant which produces seedpods containing significant quantities of the opioid alkaloids morphine and codeine and thebaine. The poppy is cultivated to serve as a culinary, medicinal and ornamental uses. Southern gardeners have planted poppies in their gardens in the Civil War to supply the Confederate Army painkillers. These flowers are still flourishing in Southern gardens, but few people know that they can be used in the production of an anti-inflammatory.





Hogshire challenged the idea that poppy seeds can only be used for the production of opiates by cutting off their heads on the field. It is a tedious process that requires large numbers of workers, all with sharp knives. Hogshire stated that anyone with access to poppy seeds, some tools, and legal tools could produce their own opioid. The opium could be transformed into pills and liquids within a couple of weeks.





This study aimed to establish if the processing process as well as the food matrix utilized and the source of poppy seeds changed the levels of opiumalkaloids before and post-baking. The research was conducted using small quantities of poppy seeds bought from various stores, and their countries of origin recorded (Table 2). The seeds were ground into a fine powder using the spice blender, and later weighed out into glass Durham tubes (4 per solvent) for each experiment, using a deuterated internal standard (morphine-d3) in each of the solutions. The calibration curves were developed for each of the seven different extraction solvents, and the results were then examined to determine which one was the most efficient in separating Alkaloids of the opium plant from the seeds. Each extraction was done using a different pH in order to optimize the separation of the compound. Data show that the levels of alkaloids extracted from poppy seeds differ significantly, in line with previous studies on the topic. These figures are presented in ng/g as it was not possible to determine the level of each of the individual alkaloids from the sample size.
