While the world is turning, many things are changing. For example there wasn't car in the world 500 years ago;
also, there wasn't computer in the world 100 years ago. Many things were changed by the people. These
changes were increased the level of people’s life; consequently, people are living longer these days than past. I
am going to explain why are people living longer now. First of all, technology and science weren’t developed
like these days. Medicine has evolved with technological advances. Many medicine cures were improved for
fatal diseases. Vaccines were invented and then many fatal diseases were treated easily.For example there are
smallpox vaccine,rabbies vaccine, etc. Secondly, according to the past today is experiencing much less war.
People learned to live in peace with each other and solve their problems without weapons. Nowadays, they
solve the problems with simple treaties; hence, they no longer join the wars and don’t die young. So they are
living longer in this world peace. Lastly, people began to work in more comfortable conditions with the
increasing level of life, because industrialization has reduced the use of manpower. People rather than
machines started working on this jobs. Also working time was decreased by the goverments. People are
working just 35 hours per a week on these days; however, this was more than 70 in the past. This change
caused positive effects on people. Without a doubt, people are working better conditions on these days. In
summerize, technological and scienitfic advances, reduction of wars and better working conditions cause to live
longer. We have better life conditions; therefore, we are living longer than past.
