Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Colson Baker (aka Machine Gun Kelly) relocated to Nashville to pursue his music career. After making four mix tapes, Stamp of Approval, Homecoming, 100 Words and Running and Lace Up and Lace Up, he got his breakthrough with the launch of his debut album, Machine Gun Kelly in 2010. He was signed to Bad Boy and Interscope Records and has released two more albums including Tickets to My Downfall and Unapologetic.


The live shows he performs are an explosion of energy. The arena-sized Excel Energy Center in Minneapolis was completely sold out for his show on July 28 2022. A majority of the audience was college students in fishnets and damaged jeans. They were singing along to songs such as "Girlfriend." The comedian began his performance by showing a video clip of him in a chopper before he emerged from the box with an escalator. He climbed up to the stage, which was a huge round stage that had a checkerboard-shaped design with a slanted roof.


Then Machine Gun Kelly Aprons began to rock out with his band. They were a tight band with a great sound and amazing guitar work. Also, he had massive pyrotechnics. Highlight of the show came when he performed an encore and did his show on a platform, which rose from the floor. The entire crowd was turned into an euphoric rock 'n' roll frenzy.


One Way is a truly unique crime-fictional tale where A small-time criminal becomes the status symbol when he takes over a bank with his tough-as-nails moll (Cabot). The film has a strong feeling of the atmosphere, and the performances are good. The script is flawed. It's difficult to believe that an artiste as popular as MGK could produce an unprofessional film.
