The concert took place at the Excel Energy Center and had one thousand fans. The venue was packed with teenagers and college students in fish nets, pink, and ripped clothes. MGK began by showing a clip of him inside a box constructed of cardboard, which was the theme for the whole show. He frequently spoke about the internet's inaccuracy and that he wouldn't have been here tonight if they weren't there.
Then, he turned to fan fave "Jawbreaker" and began to speak about his cat being backstage and how he doesn't have time to do other things. He went on to talk about having to leave many of his buddies at home to be where he is now. The crowd booed and cheered for him to play more. Then, he leapt down from the massive stage and made his way through the audience handshakes with those in front of him.
The audience was able experience MGK's signature mix of rap rock. There were classics and new songs included in the set. Then, he brought in BMTH's Oli Sykes for a collaborative performance. They had a fantastic chemistry which made the song better. They also played one drum solo. It was a great song to end the show with as it's hard to not like.
Overall, the show was phenomenal. The venue was gorgeous and the audience was well-pumped up. Anyone who likes rap and rock will enjoy this show. The band was a fantastic entertainer. The group will be touring throughout the summer Don't forget to catch them!
