Fundy Designer V7 is a must-have tool for creating albums, but they have gone to the next level. The latest version of Fundy Designer has a variety of new tools to arrange your photos and a sleek, white UI. However, the most impressive feature for us is the Quick Design Picker that offers a myriad of options for your album layouts and can be customized to suit your taste.


Another feature that is important is the ability to quickly export your layouts, and then re-import them, allowing you to make changes as required. The patented Auto Design technology takes the burden of creating your album. Fundy Merch and drop your photos onto the page to create the perfect album.


A comprehensive suite of client proofing tools has also been added to Fundy Designer. They've also included a room design tool that will let you plan display walls based on real images of your clients rooms. Also, their new image viewer lets you to view alternate 4-star images in addition to the 1-star ones in your album proofs and if they're not entirely sold on the album they could replace the album with one of those alternative 4-star images directly in the middle of them.


With all these new features, Fundy Designer v7 makes it simpler than ever before to design albums for your clients. Fundy Designer v7 is fully integrated with Printique which stores the specifications of thousands of albums designs. You can design an album to fit the measurements of a lab or design your own if the templates that are pre-set do not meet the requirements you want. They've also added the capability to create composites and sell them as part of your IPS product.



Fundy Designer has a few competitors, but we believe it's the most effective. FotoFusion offers, for instance, lets you create albums within Adobe's editor. However, it's outdated and unwieldy when compared to Fundy. AlbumsDS is a good example. is able to produce the same results however, they're not as closely integrated with major labs, like Fundy. They also require that you design according to the requirements of a book publisher which isn't as simple. And the price is right -- you can begin using Fundy for $299. They even offer the option of a $199 upgrade for existing users.
