The Astroman has all the features one would expect from a climbing shirt. It also works perfectly for backpacking, hiking paddling, or bushwhacking. It is also great for grabbing drinks after a workout. Its UPF 50 rating keeps the sun's rays away from your body and face, and the hood is able to seal the back of your ear and head to prevent heat loss. Half zip fronts let you to control your temperature and maximize sun protection. The thumb loops on the sleeves are enough however they aren't too large. They also have a stretchy trim on the ends to keep it taut against your skin.
The cut is on the slim, athletic side so air won't move as freely as it does in more spacious cuts. We recommend you go up two sizes if you prefer a tighter style.
