Clinically Proven Seizure Alarm
A device that can notify family members or caregivers when a seizure happens, either by sending an alert through a phone call or text message, or by recording audio and video from a camera. These devices may help people get help more quickly if they have seizures at night, which is when SUDEP is most likely to happen.

There is also a non-wrist wearable sensor with a base station called NightWatch that senses pulse and movement to detect nocturnal seizures.
A variety of devices are being developed to improve seizure detection and provide a greater level of independence for patients, their carers, and healthcare professionals. Some are based on existing medical technology, while others rely on new sensors and algorithms. There is a need for more comprehensive evaluations of these devices and their performance to ensure the best possible outcomes.
