Sunrise Dining Table 63" Color Family Beach Style Beach House Dining Room
The only problem is, I haven’t been good about finding a way to use them in my house. Bring in more natural elements with woven placemats, long dough bowls, and cotton table runners. Here is a gorgeous dining space that breathes simplicity without any cluttered space. Try different ways to bring in the blues into your coastal dining room. With furniture styles that satisfy any interior aesthetic, Universal’s To the Trade program features hassle-free online ordering from anywhere, no minimum order and free shipping.
Visit the house tour for this Rhode Island beach house. Bringing coastal design into your kitchen and dining space will add a relaxed, laid-back feel to your home. Get inspired by these coastal-inspired rooms to integrate the design into your home.

Use vintage or reproduction lighting to lend a sense of history to a new space. If you find an antique fixture at a flea market, take it to a lighting store and have it rewired. For new fixtures that look old, shop at circalighting.com and rejuvenation.com. Illuminate a large table with pendants rather than a single chandelier.
Sunrise Dining Table 63"
This kitchen feels like a glamorous version of a ship's kitchen, with streamlined, silvery design elements and porthole windows. Comfy upholstered barstools in a pretty aqua blue make a nice perch to take in this kitchen's ample natural light. A linen table runner, tall glass pillars, and treasures from the sea are all you'll need to transition from family dinner to fabulous about beach-house style fete. Select a table and chairs that are casual enough for everyday activities―breakfast, shell sorting, or putting together puzzles―but can be easily dressed up for entertaining. White walls are warmed up with wide bands of pearly gray in the subdued dining room of this 1960s cottage in Belvedere, California. Obviously it was time to find a better solution.

I mostly show it on Instagram right now as it’s very much a work in progress still. Hope to have some good photos on the blog soon. But it’s in my highlights on Instagram if you want to take a peek. We stained the hardwood floors a lighter shade using a custom mix of Minwax stains. One small change made a huge difference to this part of the house.
Color Family
It’s not really a dilemma, just a change of heart. When I wrote about our decision to leave our 3100 square foot home and move to this older, smaller cottage, my heart desired a home with less wasted space. Our previous home had a large dining room and an eat in kitchen. We spent ALL our time eating on this vintage kitchenette in the eat in kitchen.
Keeping with the white furniture this next room brings a lot of brightness with white wood paneled walls and ceiling. In coastal decor you see a lot of white and turquoise. I love how this kitchen mixed in a happy gold tone in the walls. Accented with flowers, bamboo shades, small elegant Beach-style dining room groupings of seashells, and a towel ladder finishes the beach cottage look. Rachel takes beach cottage decor to a whole new level with plenty of DIY projects. Slip covers over thrift store furniture is an inexpensive way to take it from old and drab to new and beautiful.
The touches of greenery, like the palm leaves in the back, give just enough color for this room without overwhelming it. Natural wood and wicker furniture, a warm jute rug and decorative stone objects give the space an organic feel, reflecting the coastal views and garden beyond. The light-stained wooden flooring offers the perfect natural grounding element for a coastal kitchen and dining area. Giving a nod to coastal style in this dining room is the eye-catching statement piece of a white coral chandelier.
This neutral wood can be paired with any color or patterned dining chair to fit your coastal farmhouse look. The relaxed linen side chairs, fresh greenery, and playful artwork help to establish this as a coastal dining room. The sliding glass doors framed in green and slight breeze overhead certainly don’t hurt either. Navy blue is a staple of costal dining room color schemes. It’s nautical and chic, and the minimal aesthetic feels relaxed but also elegant. Adding navy blue to an all-white space is a foolproof way to bring the coastal.
Beach Style Beach House Dining Room
I like the nature colors of the elements displayed in this dining room. They really go well with the nude tone that’s going on around this room. That dining room mirror with clamshell frame looks really classy! Check out the rest of the rooms in this beach house.

Though it’s contemporary, the gentle aqua and sea green tones ensure this is a serene and soothing space. The colourful artwork on either side of the room reflects the coastal tones and unites the entire scheme. The white shiplap walls and painted flooring give the room an understated and classic finish. Up above, a linear lantern makes for a gorgeous feature and helps to define the dining area, creating a sense of warmth and intimacy. Meanwhile, graphic blue and white cushions add a welcome pop of colour to the otherwise neutral scheme. Navy and white is a classic partnership – and it’s just right for lakeside homes.
Posts of the Week:
For a nice design detail, the table’s apron is outfitted with a shallow drawer on each end – perfect for storing extra table linens. https://heyku.me/ photographed both the house in its beautiful natural light along with some great outdoor spaces. I was at Miss Mustard Seed’s beautiful studio, spent 3 days with her and only snapped a few pictures. We started painting and chatting and that was that…. I may have mentioned before that I was a professional artist for many years before I started this blog.

Foldable dining table to save space – recommended for guest cottages or small beach homes. Take a peek inside this cozy cottage in Martha’s Vineyard. A bold wallpaper in a smaller room can sometimes make the space feel more intimate. In this dining room, a graphic blue-and-white pattern jazzes up the wall above the wainscoting and is a dynamic pairing with the white tree branch chandelier.

White wooden dining table with white molded plastic chairs in a bright and airy beach house featuring a modern coastal design with accents of colors throughout the space. Fresh white walls create a bright and airy environment, while blue and green hues are introduced through elegant tableware, artwork, and houseplants. The woven dining table chairs and rattan bar cart enhance the beach house style. The hardwood floors and trestle dining table boast finishes that are reminiscent of driftwood for that washed and rustic coastal style look we love! Driftwood finishes come in a variety of styles, but most have varying hues of natural wood, gray, and white for a true seashore look and feel. Another distinct accent in this dining room are the parson's chairs, which are slipcovered in a beautiful cream and white striped linen fabric that drapes the chairs so beautifully.
