Anyone who's ever worked in the metal scene will remember exactly the place they were in when news about the death of the Black Dahlia Murder frontman Trevor Strnad. All band members agree that the loss of this unique generation metal legend was similar as losing siblings.
BDM's guitarist Brandon Ellis and drummer Alan Cassidy and bassist Max Lavelle, were shocked to learn of the loss of a friend. The band members immediately began discussing ways to honor their friend.
In the beginning, they'd like to continue playing shows. The band will launch with their first Detroit hometown concert on October 28. They also want to tour and record demos. Brian Eschbach, co-founder of the band, as well as guitarist, has been appointed vocal duties. The Black Dahlia Murder Apron has been part of the group since 2001, when they first formed in Oak Park Michigan. He has improved their style.
