Psychedelic Loki Merchandise May Hint at Timeline Traveling Subplot
The new season of Marvel's Loki series, starring Tom Hiddleston as the mischievous Asgardian god, is set to air on Disney+ next week. The series, which has Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius and Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, will pick up right where the last episode ended with Loki trying to cause havoc across multiple branch timelines. One new piece of merchandise has led to some interesting speculations about the plot that involves a timeline traversing. A shirt displaying the words "The timeline wants to come out of its prison" directly over a picture of Hiddleston's Loki could hint at an upcoming time-travel subplot for the show. It could be a way for the god of mischief to traverse through multiple Marvel timelines in order to get revenge on Avengers headquarters and help save his brother Thor.





The merch has a psychedelic look, no matter if it's an indication of the plot. Some designs include blocks of text that are curved to resemble Loki's ears. loki merch is quite striking, and is sure to draw the eye of any fan wearing it.





The god of mischief, complete with the famous horns that he wears, is included on a variety of t-shirts and hoodies. Many of the designs also bear the Mobius clock's mascot and many of them incorporate one of the show's key visual themes. Costumes of the Asgardians for instance, have an incredibly distinctive Asgardian style, and this can be seen in group designs like this one that contains Thor, Wasp, Captain America, and Loki.





It seems that the new designs suggest that the next Loki season is more vibrant than the first. The merchandise used in the first season was mainly colored in gray and green, which have been associated with the TVA. However it's possible that the next season will be more colorful. The newest designs, for instance, feature a more purple-focused style that could indicate that the new season will be set in more vibrant timelines.





The limited edition TVA badge is adorned with Mobius horns, and also features the Bureau's logo. This pin might hint at an upcoming collaboration between TVA, the god of mischief and Feige. Feige originally pitched the show starring him as the director of the agency. It would also be in line with what we've heard regarding Mobius as an MCU Detective in Loki and the way Heron portrays his character in the trailers.
