Seizure Alarm NZ
A seizure is a sudden and uncontrolled movement of the body caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain. It can be a very dangerous and life-threatening condition that can happen at any age.

You should also help the person to lie down if they can’t stand or sit up. This will help to protect them from falling and causing a serious injury.
Carers can be notified if someone is about to have a seizure through alarms or phone calls, depending on the device. They can then be given information to help them support the person during and after a seizure.
A caregiver can also give rescue medication to the person with epilepsy. Emfit NZ They can then contact an ambulance if the seizures continue or are too frequent.
The app can help you to log seizures and related information (such as whether rescue medication was used, seizure type, triggers, activity etc). You can even add notes to each of your seizures.
