Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva, a visiting representative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visited various in Baku

Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva have today visited the special boarding school No12 in Khazar District, the summer camp of the orphanage No1 in the Shuvalan settlement, as well as the psycho-neurological orphanage situated in Narimanov District and the Downs Syndrome Association in Baku, the capital.

Vice-President of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva were the first to visit the special boarding school No12 in Khazar District.

Mrs. Leyla Alyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva were informed by the facility that they have been helping paralyzed students since 1969.

The facility was rehabilitated by Mehriban Aliyeva First Lady, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2010.

The boarding school can house up to 141 students of 6-14 ages.

Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva talked to the children prior to making gifts for them from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Arzu Aliyeva as well as Leyla Aliyeva, vice-president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation visited the Shuvalan summer camp of the orphanage No1.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva have talked with children, and viewed their dance performance.

It was reported that the facility was reconstructed in 2013. The facility was designed to provide the children with entertainment and a sense of play.

They held a tea party along with the children.

Leyla Aliyeva served as Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Arzu Aliyeva was also a visitor to the orphanage number 1 in the capital's Nasimi District.

The facility can accommodate up to 39 children.

The group was informed that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, in 2009, had begun the reconstruction of the facility.

The children here are served by a medical team of around 90 people.

Children were presented with gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva also visited the Downs Syndrome Association in the capital.

It was reported that the aim of the centre that serves up to 96 kids is to help children recover and integration into the community.
