interculteral communication competence refers to the idea that you are able to communicate and understand other cultures because of what you know. I believe the best thing I need to improve my interculteral competence is motivation because living in America we have people from all different cultures and understanding them should be more important to me than it is!
I see the most positive member in the group has to be the leader as he sets a standard for what is expected of the rest of the group and the most problematic role involves the interpreter because if they interperate something wrong and communicate it to everyone else, things could get very problematic and this person could lose their role easier than anyone else.
I would say that the information seeker is the most suitable for me since I've always been good at gathering intel and using my resources to the best of my ability
my comfort level was decently high since I've been going to class for so long but the discussion seemed to eventually annoy me as I don't think some peoples lives are important than others even based off of their background.
