The concert took place in the Excel Energy Center and had the attendance of 14,000. The venue was packed with teenagers and college students in fish nets, pink, and ripped clothes. MGK began with a video that showed him in a cardboard box made of cardboard, which was the premise for the whole show. He frequently spoke about the fact that the internet has been wrong and if it weren't for them, he wouldn't have been here tonight.
Then he jumped into his fan fave "Jawbreaker" and then started to speak about how his cat was in the background and how he didn't have time for anything else. He reminisced about leaving many of his buddies in the past to be the point he is now. Machine Gun Kelly Merch chanted and cheered for him to perform more. He then jumped off of the goulish stage and walked around the crowd shaking hands with people in front.
MGK's signature blend of rock and rap was fully displayed for the crowd. There were classics and new songs in the set. He then brought out BMTH frontman Oli Sykes to perform a song together. The song was made better by their chemistry. The duo also played a drum solo. It was a great song to close the show with because it's hard to not like.
Overall, the show was phenomenal. The venue was gorgeous and the audience was well-pumped up. Anyone who enjoys rap or rock will enjoy this show. The band did an excellent job at entertaining the crowd. They'll definitely be going on a tour again this summer so make sure you catch them!
