Leyla Aliyeva & Arzu Aliyeva, Vice Presidents of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visit Baku

Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Arzu Aliyeva was Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Leyla Aliyeva was Vice President.

Arzu and Leyla Aliyeva, vice-presidents of the Foundation, visited the first Khazar District special boarding School No12.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva were informed that the facility educates paralyzed children since 1969.

In 2010, the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, initiated the repair of the facility.

The boarding school is able to accommodate as many as 141 students who are 6-14 years of age.

Before they handed out the Heydar Aliyev Foundation gift cards, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva & Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva talked with the children.

Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva have spoken to children and watched their dance performances.

Arzu Aliyeva It was informed that the facility was renovated in 2013. All the conditions needed were set here for recreation and entertainment of children.

They enjoyed a tea party while playing with their children.

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva visited orphanage No1 located in the capital's Nasimi District.

They were informed that the structure which was constructed in 1930 was rebuilt and remodeled in 2005 on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Arzu Aliyeva, Mrs. Leyla and Arzu Aliyeva spoke with the children.

As stated, the facility can hold up to 39 children.

The orphans were given gifts by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva visited the Narimanov District in Baku's psycho-neurological orphanage.

This hospital has 103 children served by a staff of around 90 medical specialists.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva visited also the Down Syndrome Association in the capital.

The facility was informed that the aim of the centre that serves up to 96 children to provide children's rehabilitation and integration to the society.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Alyeva watched children's ballet shows.
