The Belgian bass duo has been exploring the limits of the genre through their psychedelic live shows. They take the time to add additional elements to their shows to create an engrossing experience for the fans. They also incorporate their uniqueness into the design of their merchandise, so they can extend their vision beyond the music.
The story of the duo that runs parallel to their journey through sound. They were raised in the small city of Mons, Belgium away from the hustle and bustle of city life which has helped them to develop a unique and honest sound that is their own. They've got a variety of influences, from early UK bass sound to reggae vibes. But they have managed to combine all their influences to create something distinctive.
Unity Their latest album, was released by their own record label. It includes collaborations with bass heavyweights. To promote the LP, GWN have launched their own music video series featuring their narrative-driven Mr. ganjawhitenightmerch that has an interplanetary visual universe to accompany it.
During their two-night event at Red Rocks, the duo performed all of their visual and sonic elements together. The premier night included a stellar lineup and new feats of visual production that transported audiences into the world of the duo's hilarious character.
On day two, Illenium took the stage to present his energetic headline performance, complete with a set of pyrotechnics and lasers in the background. Other acts such as wudoo Nostalgix, and Deeper Purpose also kept the crowd entertained all day.
