The company is also the biggest player of live tournaments and events across the globe, and has brands including The European Poker Tour, PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, Latin American Poker Tour and the Asia Pacific Poker Tour.
Amaya was first listed with the TSX Venture Exchange July 10, 2010 and graduated to the TSX Exchange October 2013, The S&P/TSX Compendium Index came out to Amaya on September 14, 2014. It's the second-largest TSX listed technology company by market cap in Quebec in the month of October 31, 2014.
Amaya’s successes have been noted by industry leaders and recognized with awards. They include Ernst & Young’s Quebec EY Entrepreneurs of the Year 2013 in the Information Technology Category and Mr. Baazov's selection in Gaming Intelligence’s Hot 50 list for 2012's most inspiring, creative, and talented people involved with online gaming. In 2013 Baazov was awarded the TSX Tech Stock of the Year award. David Baazov Baazov won the Cantech Letter TSX Tech Company's CEO of the Year award, as well as Amaya got the TSX Tech stock of the year. For 2012, Cantech Letter named Mr. Baazov TSX Venture Tech Company's CEO of the year and Amaya as the TSX Tech Stock of the Year.
