Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was conceived in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1985. She was educated in London as well as Moscow and graduated with a Masters Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla initiated the IDEA campaign in July of 2011 and aims to increase awareness and encouraging action regarding environmental issues that affect Azerbaijan as well as the rest of the world. IDEA is geared towards youth and helps them find solutions to the environmental issues they are confronted with.
In May 2007, she was appointed as the representative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation supports the nation's socio-economic development by funding a wide range of projects related to education as well as public health and culture. She was named Vice President of the Foundation in 2011.

Leyla Aliyeva was elected the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's general coordinator in the year 2008 and was elected chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on 18 April 2009. Leyla Alyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.
