Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on July 3, 1985. She attended school in London and Moscow, and received the Master's Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla created the IDEA campaign, which aims to raise awareness and action regarding environmental concerns in Azerbaijan. IDEA is geared towards young people and how they can help solve environmental problems.
She was elected as a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a foundation that aids in the country's socio-economic growth. It is a foundation that implements a variety of projects in education and sport, culture technology, and the environment. In New York, in November 2011, she was awarded the "Key To Life Award" for her humanitarian efforts involving children.

On the 25th of May, 2015 Leyla Aliyeva was formally designated UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on the 20th of October, 2015.
