NCT merchandise is essential for fans of the South Korean boy band. The group, which stands for Neo Culture Technology, has been recognized with numerous awards, and has continued to enjoy a strong presence on the scene of music. NCTzens are always looking for new merchandise to add to their collections. There are some NCT merchandise is available only during certain fan meetings. NCT 127 released a MD collection inspired by their single "Ay-Yo" that contained two pieces of merchandise. The black hoodie was criticized by fans as being too basic and simple. Another item was a water bottle which sports the Ay-Yo brand and comes with a random photocard.
The pop-up NCT shop was opened in Busan on June 12th on the 12th of June, 2019, in the F1963 complex. The store was designed to advertise NCT's upcoming album Superhuman. The store had four items, including a dark Superhuman T-shirt and a film set that had nine different options, postcards (including three group sheets measuring at 127 x 178 millimeters), and an acrylic name tag that measured 70 x 25 mm.
The NCT Store also had a special item, a light stick. The light stick wasn't a normal NCT light stick as it came with a green silicone strap and dust bag. nctmerch was also included to add decoration to the lid.
Alongside the NCT Store, a number of pop-up stores opened all over the country in order to advertise the Superhuman album. The NCT Dream Shows was a series variety shows which was held in September of 2018 at the SMTown Theatre and SMTown Artium. The show was open to the general public and featured a range of members. Fans could purchase an assortment of merchandise, such as an NCT Dream shirt or acrylic name badges. Also, there was a special NCT Dream Show AR photocard which allowed the user to view video content of the member they had chosen.
Despite the fantastic NCT merchandise, some fans were disappointed to see that the merchandise didn't include WayV, a division of NCT consisting of Kun, Ten, Lucas, Winwin, Xiao Jun, and Hendery. Many fans are worried that SM could remove Lucas from the group due to his scandalous background, however this has not been confirmed by the management. Lucas's supporters have sent him messages in hopes that NCT 2021 will keep him.
