Another moment that captures the essence of the series is the scene in which Jimmy and Kim meet in a courtroom for their criminal trial. He is arguing that he ought to be allowed to keep his law license and she gazes wistfully at the judge. It's a scene which perfectly illustrates the chemistry between the two characters in the context of his innate crookedness and her irrepressible propensity to believe in an unfair system.
