The final season of Better Call Saul is built on a series of dizzying crescendos however, its final episode takes viewers to a state of stark Nebraskan quiet. Better Call Saul Merch is a shock to viewers because of its unique formula, the one-word title and leap into the future of Saul. It also happens to contain one of the most iconic moments of clothing in the entire series in a brief scene that shows Gene Takavic (Slippin' Jimmy) trying on the most glam shirt and tie ahead of a heist in a laundry in Albuquerque.


This moment is a glimpse into the way Jimmy's morality manifests in his conduct. This is the last, most ruthless, step on a path in which he rejected the beliefs he held and went with whatever suited his needs, regardless of the cost. This petty act will haunt him for throughout his life even if he's the lawyer that wanted to be a good person in his free time.



It was this man who was paid some money, helped Walter White grow his crystal meth business. This venture had serious ethical consequences. The same man that now helps people to avoid jail for murdering a woman over a collision and his brutal approach to law has led him there. He's lost the sense of morality at this point however he's never had the ability to add layers of flashiness.


Cloth is the story of a heist, but it is the heist that is the focus and not the immediate reward. It's the culmination of a plan that was developed over several weeks or months. This shows how Saul's changed. It exposes his morality but also his sense humor. He isn't looking forward to spending his entire life in prison, and he is aware that all it will take is one juror who will buy his story about abetting Heisenberg's cartel.


The entire episode was shot black and white, which contributes to the starkness. This is a drastic change from the bright shades and flashy outfits that were featured in previous seasons. However, it's fitting for his final chapter. This is the last reversal of a series that has flipped between formal elegance and emotional neuroticism with near-perfect efficiency. The absurdity of this contrast has given the whole experience an enduring power that will be felt for a long time. Better Call Saul Cloth represents the ultimate conclusion to the journey that started with a basic idea that turned into one of the most popular TV shows of recent years. It took only a little of cynicism and extreme desperation to be washed in clean, hopeful bills. Better Call Saul continues to be awe-inspiring and amaze.
