_ chapter 2 # 22 The quote I found is important because it talks about the march sisters on Christmas morning.The important part I found of the chapter was they were poor they did not have much food and water, etc. There mom talked with them about how there was a family who did not have much of anything and they were very hungry. The sisters wanted to help this family so they gave the family there breakfast. This tied in with my quote by even when they had almost nothing and they still managed to feed themselves and others. That goes to show the sisters were putting there selves before others
Chapter 3 # 41 No one of the march sisters spots the Laurence boy from outside. He asked her if she would like to cone inside and she did. They ended up talking and ended up finding common interest. I also get to learn about the Laurence boy slot more since in chapter 3 I learn who he is and about his grandfather who takes care of him.
Chapter 4 # 52 This chapter I learn about one of the characters which is meg and this is great to know since I will tell me more about her. In this chapter it talks about her not being grateful for what she has because she sees other people have nicer cloths and nicer things which makes meg jealous. Meg at the end of the chapter learns not to be greedy and to count her blessings of what she already has. This will tell me more about megs character and how she acts.
Chapter 5 # 72 One of the march sisters dares someone to go over to the Laurence boys house and of course megs decides to go up for the dare. The Laurence not has basically just moved in and he was feeling a little bit sick and meg went to him to make sure he was okay. Meg is a little scared in of granpa and thinks he is not doing a good job of raising him and does not know what's good for him. She goes over to his house and learns more about him and gets a tour through his house. They talk about his grandpa and meg talks about her dad. They end up becoming friends and the grandpa ends up likeing meg.
Chapter 1 # 2 The march sisters are talking about Christmas and how its going to be bard this year since they don't have slot of money. The sisters are going on about all the things they want to buy with there money and what there hoping for. Times are hard for the march sisters there dad is at war and there mom is the only one providing for the family. This setting of the story helps me understand the struggles the whole family is going through and also any struggles throughout the book.
