What Is A Life Group? Bible Research Groups
Being part of a Lifegroup gives you “family” assist that you'd obtain from a blood relative family and there’s no worth that can be placed on that. Each Life Group picks the size of time they may meet. However, most groups meet for 2 to 3 hours to accommodate a time of fellowship, Bible examine, and prayer.
You’ll even have the opportunity to serve alongside one another in ministry, and share the love of Christ each locally and abroad. It’s where you get related in group and develop as a household. Life Groups are the core of our ministry right here at Resurrection Church. They’re the place life occurs as we research God’s Word, grow together, and share our lives. They are the primary way we join, construct relationships, and care for each other. We imagine Jesus’ ministry was extremely built around relationships.
Our life group leaders create protected spaces where people can grow their relationships with God and each other. Groups can collect and grow together with a social, examine, or serve focus. Most groups will do the “message-based study”, referred to as the Life Group Study, designed to apply what you learned from the sermon on the weekend. We’ll share what we learn from our Life Group Study each week. Our aim is to discover methods to live out our faith in everyday life as we grow in turning into passionate Christ-followers.
There are groups that meet onsite, offsite, and online. There are groups for men, girls, couples, and varied seasons of life. Every group strives to study the Bible, share their lives, pray for one another, and encourage next steps of faith. Most Life Groups are for adults solely, though a couple of groups do supply childcare at their meetings. This means, for many Life Groups, every family needs to arrange for their own childcare.

It’s meant to encourage and strengthen each other and is the primary source of discipleship that cares for each individual that attends. Life Groups can meet nearly any day and time of the week. Most of them meet on evenings or weekends, although there are some that meet in the course of the day. While most groups meet in a consistent location (the residence of a frontrunner or group member), some groups prefer to take turns meeting in numerous members’ homes in San Jose and the Bay space.
