I started training to defend myself,
I started training to learn how to attack when necessary,
I started training to make me stronger,
I started training to become more social,
I started training to get more confidence when I am in a fight,
I started training to develop my discipline.

I started martial arts so I could learn how to defend myself and other people against harm when necessary. It would also help me to develop my physical strength. It makes me socialize more with friendly people so I could begin making more friends. It trains my confidence to do things I would usually not be able to do. It helps me develop my discipline so I can become more helpful to other people that I do and do not know.

Low Points:
I struggle to perform stuff,
to remember stuff,
to block against attacks,
to attack hard and
to keep punching head-height.

High Points:
Receiving a new belt,
gaining new friends,
performing exercises easier,
when I am able to perform a attack and
defending myself.

When I do my defence drills I mostly struggle to block the opponents attacks as I usually feel like they are punching too hard, too close or too fast. If I learn something new I usually forget it by the next day as I struggle to remember stuff and perform stuff good. When I am in a defence drill I normally punch too lightly against the opponent and I punch lower than head-height at usual. My high points are when I receive a new belt or make new friends at martial-arts or jujitsu. On rare occasions I am able to defend myself against opponent's attacks and attack well against them. Learning an exercise for a long time can help me become better but I progress slowly. I know I progress slowly as I still struggle on push-ups, planks and burpees.

Achieving my black belt will mean to me:
That I developed my discipline
I became a more responsible person
I recognise my responsibilities

Receiving my black belt will mean to me that I have developed myself physically by becoming fit and stronger. It will mean that I have developed myself mentally by becoming a more responsible person and to know that I recognise what to do, if it is correct to do and my responsibilities anywhere at anytime. Having more confidence as a person, having to remember more stuff and having to train at home more. Having less free time and concentrating more on what the instructor is telling us to do. Doing more training and defence drills, learning new patterns and new techniques. To learn that most things will be harder and I have to accept that.

Goals for future Black belt training:
Earning next Dan grade
Helping others
Fighting harder
Concentrating more
Becoming stronger
Developing more memory
Remembering stuff
Forgetting less
To do patterns without stopping
Doing patterns correctly
Being able to defend myself better
Not being punched in the face or head
Being able to punch someone in the forehead
Being able to resist pain

The goals I have after black belt training is to develop my understanding of certain techniques and remembering stuff I cannot forget. To be able to defend myself more is a goal. I am still working on and being able to punch quicker and harder against the opponent I am going to be against. Another goal is being able to resist pain and concentrate more on what I am doing than other stuff that is happening around me. I need to learn stuff correctly and lend more time to what I have to do then what I want to do. I need to become stronger to attack, defend and do techniques against the opponent correctly and good.

-CONFIDENCE-
-LEADERSHIP-

I want to continue assisting after Black belt graduation as it can develop me physically and mentally by developing my confidence, discipline and strength. It can help me make new friends if I assist in class and have a better understanding of how to do stuff. It will also develop my leadership as I will be telling people what to do and how to do it correctly. I will know the correct moves to defend myself in a fight and the correct stances to dodge and attack hard. It will be able to make me protect my friends with more strength and confidence if they get hurt or injured.
