The Milwaukee Bucks Shirt, and the Unfinished Legacy create a sense of belonging
A professional team of sports is among the very few items that can bring about a sense of community. Particularly, the Milwaukee Bucks shirt, a team known for its tradition of pride for its locals. That sentiment is evident in the team's latest collaboration with streetwear brand Unfinished Legacy, which features a collection of bold prints hoodies and T-shirts that highlight timeless images of Bucks stars Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday, and Bobby Portis.


The collaboration comes as the Bucks attempt to develop unique merchandise beyond what is found in their team store located at BMO Harris Bradley Center. It's the home of the Bucks since 1988. The goal of the team is to give fans something they can't buy from the typical retailers as well as fostering a respect for Milwaukee tradition and culture in the process.



The Bucks' "Cream City Rainbow", uniform set for 2021-22, was inspired by the various colors that have been seen on Bucks jerseys over the decades. The front was white, with the wordmark "Bucks", in block letters, akin to the uniforms worn by the initial Bucks. The sides were different shades green, and one line of bright red, that echoed the 1970s "Irish Rainbow".


The same local pride extends to Bango the team's mascot. For years, the large, blue, furry monster has been a regular at the arena, with his innovative, high-flying lays. Bango has also become an everyday presence outside the arena, appearing in schools and parades as an ambassador for the team.
