What is Pickleball?
Pickleball was first invented in 1965. Played on a badminton-sized court with a 34" net in the center, it utilizes perforated plastic balls and composite or wooden paddles roughly twice the size of those used for ping pong.

Though accounts vary as to why the game received its name, Joan Pritchard has long claimed it was named for their family dog Pickles.
