Hello ma'am, a pleasant day to you, my name is Kerby Reyes from 1 BSE English and among the four questions, i chose one which states that what affective aspects need to be taken into account when conducting a language lesson?

There are lots of aspects that needs to be taken into account such as their Stress and anxiety, high motivation, and also their lack of confidence which falls under the affective filter hypothesis from Stephen Krashen's principles and practices of second language acquisition and learning.

So, here's the question, why do the teacher or the facilitator must take those aspects into account?
It is very crucial to understand the learners' motivation levels. So as teachers, we need to have a perseverance, we can use fun activities in our classroom set up to stimulate learners critical thinking and problem solving activities upon learning second language. Additionally, we teachers must recognize and respect the diversity of our learners backgrounds. It is very challenging for them and induce their stress and anxiety in learning second language. We need to be aware, we need to create an environment that prevents or reduces stress and anxiety and to foster the students confidence as well as to be motivated and by that, there's still progress to be made and also that small progress shall be celebrated to boost their self esteem upon learning second language

We teachers we just have to be diligent and compassion, we not only teach because of money but we must teach because that is our role, we teach by heart so that we can effectively impart the knowledge to our learners especially in second language. That's all ma'am thank you!
