Setelah menyelidiki bersama temannya, Cho, dia memecahkan nama tempat. Mereka sampai di great hall tapi tentu, Mr. Snape tidak mau memberitahu. Mr. Snape mengaku tidak mencuri apapun (berbohong). Luna teringat Clue yang diberikan burung phoenix. Dia memecahkannya kembali bersama si jago clue, Ron weasley. Clue terpecahkan. Dia akan membuat Veritaserum. Dia melangkah ke rumah kaca mencari bahan yang paling dibutuhkan yaitu Adder’s Fork. Madam memberitahukan suatu permainan kata (4) dimana Adder’s Fork tersimpan.
Setelah ramuan jadi, Luna menyuruh temannya, Hermione untuk memberikan ke mr. Snape segelas butterbeer yang telah dicampur ramuan. Mr. Snape minum dan mengatakan kejujuran melalui permainan kata (5).
