The survey also found that the least-regretted college majors were computer and information sciences, engineering, nursing, health, mathematics, business, and psychology. These majors all had regret rates of less than 40%.
So why are computer science majors so satisfied and least-regretted? It could be because computer science majors are in high demand, and they have the potential to earn a high salary. In addition, computer science majors are exposed to a wide range of topics, from programming languages to artificial intelligence, which can be very rewarding.
It's important to note that the survey results are not necessarily indicative of all college majors. For example, the survey did not include majors such as art, music, and theater, which may be just as satisfying and rewarding as computer science.
