History of Inflatable Bounce Houses
In the year 1959 the initial inflatable bounce house was designed. John Scurlock from Shreveport, Louisiana had done some experimentation with inflatable swathes for tennis courts. He soon noticed that his workers enjoyed jumping with the inflatable covers. John Scurlock a mechanical engineer, then designed and manufactured some inflatable tents, inflatable domes and inflatable signs. They soon become extremely popular and useful for many. His greatest achievement in this field was the invention of safety air cushions. The product is now trusted by fire and rescue departments to hold people jumping from heights.

The first manufacturing company of inflatable and space walk was in New Orleans in a leased warehouse. In the entire year of 1968 a female named Frances started an inflatable rental company and in 1976 they constructed a custom facility for the manufacture and leasing of such products. They promoted their inflatable items in various events like kid's birthday parties, school functions, picnics and many more occasions. Gradually inflatables gained popularity. follow this link of Frances had prolonged their rental business all around the United States under a brandname title Space Walk and Inflatable Zoo. Frank also established the premier inflatable indoor play park that is named as Fun Factory on Thanksgiving Day 1986 in Metairie, Louisiana. In 1987 the next unit of this park was opened in Memphis Tennessee which is named as Fun Plex. They invented the initial inflatable that was an open top mattress that had no sides plus they named it as Space Pillow.

To solve the warmth problem a forward thinking product was launched. It was in the year of 1974 that Jupiter Jump was created. These jumps had inflated columns to aid netting walls in order that the air can pass through (The Modern Jump). With the introduction of Computer Aided Design or CAD, the variety of jumpers offered today is huge and only limited to human imagination.
