#Background Story
Mark adalah anak ke 3 dari 4 bersaudara, Mark lahir di California, namun dibesarkan di Brazil dan Paraguay sebelum pindah kembali ke California. Mark adalah seorang pemuda yang sangat berbakat, dia jago back flip, right flip, ring flip, dia belajar semuanya sejak kecil dan sering membuat saudaranya kawatir. Di sma dia adalah pemain volley terbaik, di california dia dibina oleh rep JYPE di sekolah dan diminta untuk audition. Mark tidak melanjutkan sekolahnya saat kelas 10 SMA di Arcadia High School, dia pergi ke Korea untuk training dan ayahnya mendukungnya
Dan dimulailah petualangannya di industri entertainment.
Mark sendirian di korea, orang tuanya ada di california, dia belajar bahasa korea saat tiba di korea pada umur 16 tahun.
Saat pengumuman siapa yg akan debut pertama kalinya Mark meteskan air mata di korea.
