She began her career as the Head of Consultation Liaison (CL) Psychiatry at Surrey Memorial Hospital where she focused on building a thriving and highly collaborative CL service which provides psychiatric care for patients on medical and surgical wards including the palliative care and oncology units. She also was awarded a Facilities Engagement grant to create guidelines for management of vulnerable patients in hospital.

She is also the Provincial Practice leader for Psychiatry in BC Cancer, Clinical Associate professor at UBC and the Past-President of the BC Psychiatric Association. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and an adjunct faculty member of the UM PM&R and Family Medicine residency programs. She has a longstanding interest in musculoskeletal education and research. She teaches Neuromuscular Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine for Family Medicine Residents. She also has ongoing research projects on the musculoskeletal education, electrodiagnostic medical, and performing arts-medicine.

Dr. Pulkit Sing completed her medical degree from the University of New South Wales before completing her Psychiatry Residency at the University of British Columbia. She received the Undergraduate Teaching Award and the Psychotherapy Award during her training to acknowledge her achievements in these areas. She has worked in a variety of areas of Psychiatry and is particularly interested in Psycho-oncology, Addiction Psychiatry, Cardiac Psychiatry and General Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.

She has a long-standing passion in geriatric psychotherapy and has served as a consultant to the Geriatric Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service and ECT service at Vancouver General Hospital. She is an educator and mentor for medical residents and students.

Dr Theresa Lo

Dr Theresa Lo is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where she completed her medical school and residency in psychiatry. She has worked at the BC Cancer Agency, Surrey Mental Health and UBC Sleep Disorders Centre. She also has an active clinical practice in psychotherapy, including dialectical behavioural therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She is fluently able to speak Cantonese.

Dr Karim is an active member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and was trained at Guy's King's St Thomas', St George's and St George's Hospitals in London. She is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and has been practicing psychotherapy for more than 20 years. She is interested in psychiatry for children and adolescents.

Dr. Richford began her career as an RN, and later she pursued a doctorate at Dalhousie. She received her MD in the year 1996.
