We had an idea that we had wanted our production company to be limited to the teen audience, especially with our research, we had figured that the major production companies that were used in teen films tended to be those of a cliche genre and narrative. This is why we decided that we wanted to specifically target the niche teen audience, through our own independent production company. This would help create a brand identity also with the type of film we are going for.

We had done thought about many ideas and we had mind mapped what we had wanted (attached below) and we had decided we wanted a name that would be linked to 'teen' and we had come up with the idea of 'youth' as it was short and catchy. After further research we had seen that there is always something that would end in the actual name of the company, e.g. pictures, productions, films etc. We had felt that 'pictures' best suited 'youth'. So with this research we had figured that Youth Pictures would be our production company ident.
