Los Angeles Dodgers is one of the most well-known baseball teams in Major League Baseball history. Whether you're looking to commemorate the long history of the team, or commemorate your own love of the sport, the Dodgers offer a variety of plaques designed to help immortalize your baseball memories.


On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in MLB and transformed the game forever. The result was that his number 42 was retired throughout the field. The Dodgers made a tribute to Robinson by dedicating his 42nd number to their team's rich history, and also naming one of their stadiums in his memory. It was the first time an entire team did this and was a momentous event in baseball's history.


It's been over 100 years since that defining day but the legacy of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers lives on. These franchises have become part of the American landscape and continue to make an impact in their respective communities. The team's devotion to its roots and its commitment to the community are reflected on many different memorials and plaques around the stadium.



Alongside the memorials scattered around the stadium, there are also numerous plaques that are dedicated to the club's best players and their accomplishments. In the lead-up to the 2020 baseball season, the Dodgers announced a new monument to commemorate their legendary broadcaster Vin Scully. The announcement was greeted by an applause from the crowd and was an emotional tribute to one of the top broadcasters in the history of radio.


Dodgers are home to a plaque that is dedicated to the players who have been awarded the most NL Cy Young Awards. The plaque is sublimated with a photo and text description that is printed on an officially licensed black plaque. The plaque is a wonderful way to honor a player and will look stunning in any workplace or at home.


Dodgers Merch that is located in the stadium is the Community Wall of Fame showcase. It is located behind the bleachers in the right and left field. It permits the fans to have their names, or a message printed on a baseball that will be displayed in the stadium. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize someone special and aid in the Dodgers community outreach initiatives.


There are a few plaques for the club's future. The Dodgers are likely to choose Adrian Beltre on his first ballot in 2024. they might even invite several of their former players to Cooperstown at some point. Jay Jaffe at FanGraphs recently attempted to guess the upcoming five Hall of Fame classes, and he also included some current and former Dodgers in his predictions.
