Luigi Hats
Luigi is the main character from Nintendo's Mario video game series. Luigi is the younger, taller, fraternal twin brother to Mario and is frequently portrayed as a friend. He is usually seen wearing green overalls and a iconic green cap.


He is also the second tallest character in the series, after Mario. His more imposing appearance is due to the fact that he's taller and has a more robust Italian build, and has bigger feet. While his style is similar to Mario's look, it is still recognizable as his own, and Nintendo has integrated this distinctive appearance into games throughout the franchise.


Like his brother, Luigi is famous for his plumber's profession. He is spotted in a green overalls dress. His hat of choice is green with the red "L" symbol and is featured in nearly every Mario game to date. Nintendo has emphasized this look and has proclaimed the period between March 2013 to March 2014 as the Year of Luigi in honor of the character’s 35th anniversary.



Apart from his cape, Luigi is known for his larger frame, thinner frame, and wider feet. This is attributed to Luigi's Italian heritage, and the fact that he was Mario's younger, taller brother. Luigi's character and gameplay are identical to Mario despite these differences.


Luigi is available as a teammate to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Score Attack mode. Luigi T-shirts is an asset to your team. He can help you gain S ranks on courses and can also throw Koopa Shells at Bowser to stop him. He is a great partner for playing the game. He'll be sure to help you keep Princess Peach from the hands of King Koopa.


In the 2023 adaptation of Mario Bros, Luigi appears along with his brother, who are residents of Brooklyn who have recently started their own plumbing business. They are both summoned by the Pipe to the Mushroom Kingdom and they reunite at the end of the film to defeat Bowser. Luigi is not like his brother. Luigi isn't portrayed as being a bit sarcastic or violent as he is a more relaxed character.


Luigi's costume can be unlocked within Super Mario Odyssey either by purchasing the cap from a Crazy Cap shop or scanning an amiibo that has the Luigi theme. By pressing the D-pad in any active mission or battle it is possible to transform into him and his clumsy twin brother Waluigi. The cap can be lost or removed if players reach 999 lives. The huge Luigi cap can also be located on the top of the grandstand of N64's Luigi Raceway and an actual glider modelled after Luigi's cap was revealed in the 2022 Mario vs. Luigi Tour on N64's Luigi Raceway.
