The Los Angeles Dodgers are one of the most recognizable baseball teams in the history of Major League Baseball. It doesn't matter if you want to celebrate the history of the team or show your love for the team and passion for the team, the Dodgers provide a range of plaques that will help you remember your favorite baseball moments.



On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in MLB and revolutionized baseball forever. As a result, the number 42 was retired across the sport. The Dodgers pay tribute to Robinson by dedicating his 42nd number to their team's long history, as well as naming the stadium's section in his memory. It was the first time that any team had done so and was an unforgettable moment in the history of baseball.


It's been over 100 years since that historic day, but the history of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers lives on. The franchises are now part of America's fabric and are still making the difference in their local communities. The team's dedication to its tradition and dedication to its community are reflected on a number of different memorials and plaques around the stadium.


Alongside the memorials located around the stadium, there are a number of plaques dedicated to the club's best players and their achievements. In dodgersmerch -up to the baseball season in 2020 the Dodgers unveil a new memorial to pay tribute to the legendary broadcaster Vin Scully. Standing ovations greeted the announcement and it was a touching tribute to one of history's most influential broadcasters.


The Dodgers also have a unique plaque that honors the players who have received the most NL Cy Young Awards. The plaque features a sublimated photo and a description of the text that is printed on an officially licensed black plaque. This plaque is an excellent option to remember a famous player, and it would be a great addition to every office or home.


The Community Wall of Fame is another noteworthy plaque that is located inside the stadium. This display is located behind the bleachers in the right and left field. It also allows users to be able to have their names or message printed on a baseball that will be displayed at the stadium. It is a wonderful way to recognize someone special and aid in the Dodgers community outreach efforts.


There are some plaques on the horizon of the club's future. The Dodgers are expected to elect Adrian Beltre in 2024 on his first ballot, and may bring some of their ex-players to Cooperstown in the future. Jay Jaffe, from FanGraphs, recently made a guess about the five next Hall of Fame classes. The group included both former and current Dodgers.
