Let's Go Brandon Flag
A 9-year-old boy living in Cottage Grove, Minnesota has lots of people who are rooting for Brandon. Kids in his hometown are welcomed by banners that are titled "Let's take on Brandon." It is a popular slogan that people sing during his races. They also support him when the young man takes steps that he's never taken before, like swimming and removing his training wheels from his bicycle.
He doesn't realize that his enthusiasm has come from a place of anger over President Joe Biden's anti-immigration policies, vaccine mandates and the overall sly anti-American agenda. That's because the "Let's Go Brandon" message was initially an insulting code word, an insult that was hurled at the president by people who didn't vote for him. Then it changed into a message of support, thanks to the family of NASCAR race car driver Brandon Brown.
The story starts in October of 2021. Brown took home his first NASCAR Xfinity Series race and was interviewed afterward by NBC pit reporter Kelli Stavast. In the course of the broadcast, Stavast could be heard confusing a crowd's shouts of "F*** Joe Biden" as "Let's Go Brandon."
The misheard chant reverberated out of there. Then, a few days later Ben Shapiro's website for news, the Daily Wire began selling shirts and hats with the phrase which turned into a meme in a flash. Many members of Congress use the meme to express their frustration with the president. Bill Posey, a Florida Representative, ended his remarks in the House this week by stating: "Let's Go Brandon!" by pumping his fist.
Despite its origins in political conflict, the 'Let's Go Brandon' slogan has become more positive and less a negative for the country particularly among conservatives. It's a phrase that has the potential to connect people of all political views in their displeasure with the president's agenda and legislation, as well being a reflection of his inexperience as an executive and competence. It's also an effective reminder of the power of words can be utilized to accomplish both good or evil, as it was in this instance.
lets go brandon flag who wants to stop hearing the phrase being chanted and watch it disappear from the streets can take a few quick and easy steps. The first step is to ensure that your social media accounts are set to block all offensive language, including slurs, and that any photos or videos you share come with a proper warning.
