The band Chelsea Grin from Utah dropped a metaphoric bomb on the deathcore scene with their debut record DESOLATION EDEN in 2010. The group released two EPs and two full-length records before touring together with Emmure as well as The Amity Affliction. In late 2012 drummer Dan Jones left the band to focus on his BSc Degree, leaving bassist David Flinn and guitarist Jake Harmond to be the last remaining members of Chelsea Grin. The group performed at a variety of events and supported Skin Deep's European Tour in early 2013. The band also wrote and recorded the Evolve EP. Later, in 2015 acted as support for The Amity of Affliction on the band's North American tour.
https://www.chelseagrinmerch.store/ in 2018 Suffer in Hell, on Onerpm, was another shot of creative beatdown aggression. The album is more intelligent and more complex than their previous releases, with more sombre production as well as a general feeling of unity and harmony in audiovisuals. The album is a reflection of their strengths at the moment, and is the highest level that deathcore can reach.
