In accordance with an announcement created by NVIDIA(NASDAQ:NVDA), businesses across India can now deploy graphics-accelerated virtual desktops to their employees - cost-effectively, anywhere and on any device - with the adoption of NVIDIA GRID technology by the leading technology partners.
Servers from Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM and others are actually incorporating NVIDIA GRID to their desktop virtualization solutions.
NVIDIA GRID technology enables employees to use their own notebooks and portable devices to gain access to almost all their office productivity and design applications virtually - in the same way they would at their desks, given that they are connected via the internet. Ahead of NVIDIA GRID, desktop virtualization technologies were limited by performance and compatibility constraints that severely compromised applications for building information management, product-lifecycle management and video-photo editing. Even the user connection with Microsoft Windows was limited.
